Google ‘Plus’ & ‘Black Interface’ & ‘People Widget’

Google is really getting in news because of their changes (or improvements as they say).

Black Interface

Google updated their interface for not only homepage but also for search pages. Google turned navigation bar to black. The currently selected menu item turns white & bold and the others remains grey. Now, Google logo is smaller than before and includes two updated buttons for ‘Google Search’ and ‘I’m Feeling Lucky’, while the corporate links are moved to the bottom of the page.
Moreover on the search page, Google uses a new color scheme for the sidebar, adds gray-scale icons next to the specialized search engines, replaces the standard search button with a label-less blue button. The page URL is shown above the meta description with cached link.

Google’s Black Interface

Google also says that new design is flexible so that it can be used in the desktop interface, the smartphone interface, the tablet interface and even the interface for smart TVs.
I think the previous white felt better……What do you think?

People Widget
People Widget

Google lately added the People widget to Gmail which shows information about the people you’re communicating with: profile photos, occupation, recent Buzz messages, recent email and documents shared with you, calendar availability and more. You can disable the people widget from the settings page.
More, the action bar is displayed at the top of the page even when you scroll down, so you can quickly archive a conversation, label it or read the next conversation without scrolling to the bottom of the page or using keyboard shortcuts
