The LG Optimus 2X is officially the fist dual core smartphone to launch in India.The phone runs a Tegra 2 chipset with dual-core 1 Ghz ARM Cortex A9 processor, 512MB Ram and comes with 8GB internal storage expandable to 32GB via microSD card.It has a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and includes an accelerometer,proximity sensor and a gyro sensor.It has a 8MP camera and can record 1080p video and even output the same via HDMI.It currently has Android 2.2,but it is upgradable to Android 2.3.

The Spice Popkorn is a pocket-sized mobile phone with a built in LED projector.Using th projector function, you can project still images,videos and documents stored int he phone onto any flat,white surface.Don’t expect dazzling levels of brightness,but it should work for a small screen in a darkened room,when you want to share some multimedia with a small group.It also has a 3MP camera,FM, Bluetooth and analog TV to watch free-to-air terrestrial TV channels(which can also be projected).The price includes a small tripod (to hold the phone while projecting), a laser pointer and an external battery-powered speaker.
